How to Create and Manage Email Accounts in Plesk

<h2>Email</h2>

<div class="look_here"><strong>Note:</strong> This example is using Plesk 10. The steps will be the same for other versions of Plesk, however, the button locations may be different.</div>

<ol>
	<li>Click on <strong>Mail</strong> in the panel on the left.</li>
	<li>Click <strong>Create E-mail Address</strong> icon.</li>
	<li>Fill out all the information such as <strong>E-mail Address</strong>,<strong> Password </strong>and if you need to you can also change the <strong>Mailbox size</strong> by clicking on the radio button to the left of <strong>Specify new size</strong>.<br />
	<strong>Note</strong>: It is recommended to uncheck <strong>Access to the Customer Panel</strong>&nbsp;unless the user will need to login to Plesk. (This can also be achieved by creating a separate User account)</li>
	<li>Click the <strong>OK</strong> button to create the address.</li>

<h2>Managing Email</h2>

<ol>
	<li>Click on <strong>Mail</strong> in the panel on the left.</li>
	<li>Click on the email address to manage.</li>
	<li>Here you can easily change the following settings and preferences:
	<ul>
		<li><strong>E-mail address</strong>: Change the&nbsp;email address which will be the webmail/email username by default.</li>
		<li><strong>Access to the Customer Panel</strong>: Allows users to log in to the Plesk Control Panel. Permissions are managed in Users on the left panel.</li>
		<li><strong>Password</strong> and <strong>Confirm Password</strong>: Set the password to use when logging into this email account.</li>
		<li><strong>Forwarding (Tab)</strong>: Allows mail sent to the Email address to automatically be forwarded to specified addresses.</li>
		<li><strong>Email Aliases (Tab)</strong>: Allows creation of aliases. Mail sent to the aliases will be directed to the email address's inbox.</li>
		<li><strong>Auto-Reply (Tab)</strong>: Allows management of an auto-reply for emails sent to the email address.</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Click the <strong>OK</strong> button to save your changes or <strong>Cancel</strong> to keep all your settings the same.</li>
